Ahvaan has spent over 8 years working with the Department of Education (DOE)- Government of Delhi as well as with the SCERT & DIETS within the state, on facets pertaining to learning and development in the foundational years of children or pre-primary education.

The Pre Primary Curriculum across 450 Sarvodya schools & Municipal Schools has been co-created by Ahvaan & endorsed by the SCERT

Ahvaan was invited by the SCERT to develop the Deshbhakti Curriculum on Good Citizenship for the Foundational Years (Nursery to Class 2)

Online Training for developing a cadre of Master Trainers who will support the Foundational Years’ Educators is underway

Development of the Three (3+ to 5+ years) stage ECCE I Curriculum for the Delhi State Board – Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Kindergarten.

Tripura

Ahvaan has partnered with the Directorate of Elementary Education- Government of Tripura, and the SCERT Tripura in the implementation of the following project – ‘Targeting 100 schools, impacting 300 teachers, 9000+ students, and 18000+ parents, wherein, over the next 5 years (2021-2025), the project will aim to co-create, implement and transfer a progressive Foundational Learning Mission (3+ to 7+ age) for the government schools of Tripura’.

Thereafter, Ahvaan will endeavour to maintain a strategic, advisory role with the nodal department on all aspects concerning the review and upgradation of the Foundational Learning Mission.

THE AHVAAN WAY

Through our work in classrooms, creating curriculam, coaching & mentoring – Ahvaan has developed and nurtured a strong community of practice with the entire Foundational Years ecosystem of government schools in the States we are engaged in. We engage with School Leaders, Teachers, Parents and students and have set up consistent and credible feedback mechanisms with all the stakeholders.

Ahvaan understands the enormous responsibility that rests with us and we are committed to working in mission mode for the Foundational Years of Learning to take root in our Government School Education Ecosystem.
